Default 1977 Melex 151 Restoration

I previously posted this thread in the wrong place. Restoration of a basket case golf cart. It needed to be painted inside out, all batteries and all cables were totally unusable, two tires were also shot and there were no seats. The contacts were corroded and needed a thorough clean job. The motor, the transaxle and the frame, however, were okay. I added the non-stock gauges to be able to monitor the volt/amperage usage on the fly. Also, just to be safe, I added a 100A circuit breaker which was not used in the original wiring configuration.
I use this cart primarily to do light branch trimming in my wood trails. It make it ideal because of a long stop and go operation which would not be ideal for a gas vehicle. Also I carry all 120V electric trimming tools. A 12V power pack and a 1000W inverter provide the 120VAC.
I decided to use 12V vs 6V batteries because of my occasional usage and just for an experimental purpose. This setup may not be for everybody, but it works for me.

Great work! Side note; I like the vintage NC tag.
