Default Westinghouse: Resurrection

I'm totally bitten by the buggy bug! So here is my candidate for "resurrection". She was very fast (22-23mph stock) with a super smooth ride but one bad weekend of saltwater flooding (lost 2 regular cars too) and now I need to bring her back from the dead. Now I know this won't be easy, but I really need to try so wish me luck, and I'll start this thread for you to enjoy.

P.S. If anyone has any spares for this beast, drop me a line.

So, today I am going to prep my work area and get the tires filled so I can roll her around. I've been thinking about doing a rat rod, gas powered, air shocks in front and bags in back. Or, 48v with Alltrax and speed motor, chromed out front springer style suspension and roll bar with racing seats.

Time to stop dreaming and start working, **** rain gave me time to think about modding and rodding

ONE front seat, center drive... and put in a back seat that faces forward with a tweaked flipflop kit one way is a back rest and the other way is the spoiler. Where you getting the engine? Honda 250cc kit runs about 1400 bones. Can't find a decent quad motor for less than $600. You can get some sweet take off parts from batteries carts and more in NN. We can chop the top down pretty low. It's canvas, so sliders for a convertible would be EASY. Swing arm front suspension would be super easy too. Matte black with chrome enhancements? let's get started this weekend!

Primer black, red wheels, center driver seat that is lowered with batteries on each side, total 72volt high speed setup! Go-cart slicks on all three wheels, top removed and a drag racing parachute on the back! Oh man I could go on forever! There are way too many things to do with this.
Let's go to Bonneville!!!!

Work in progress, at least this doesn't cost much, just a few beers.

Motor is a little bit trashed...anyone know where to find another? Gears look real good, and no water got in the axle. I think it is about a 12:1 ratio, haven't counted the ring gear teeth yet.
