I haven't disappeared. Just got busy with other things.. Duh, Duh, Da-Duh!!! UPDATE! I stumbled across a 79 Caroche with what I was hoping was a good set of batteries, and the correct nose.. I ended up giving 150 for the cart (brakes are shot, seats are off a boat, steering is wonky, ETC). I watered and slowly charged the batteries, and whatdayaknow? They held a charge. So, I stripped off the nose and got it in paint, robbed the batteries and a couple of the solenoids (high speed was out), and guess what? Frankenclub LIVES! I hauled it up to the summer cottage! I'm going to be there this weekend, and will take some pics to post. I did find out that 3AM drives while slightly tipsy (private roads) and no headlights makes for rough driving.. I have some 6v headlights I will install this weekend. So now I have another 36V electric caroche running gear. What to do, what to do, what to do????? BTW, it ran at 15.67MPH on the GPS, and with the baldor motor installed, has the torque to chirp the tires on dry pavement. I will snap some pics of the beastie, and post em when I get back from the cottage..

PICS! Here it is, finished with lights. Sorry it's not super clean, it's been raining at the cottage. The front lights are mini halogens, and the rears? I have no idea, but I thought they looked cool. The lights are run through a 36V relay activated off the keyswitch. The light power comes off the 12V source, through the switch on the dash, thru the relay, and out to the lights (that way when the key is off, the lights are off). As I said in my earlier post, I found a proper Caroche nose. I have some dog dish hubcaps on order, and those will finish off the look. Next is a half windshield and a bimini top, custom fabbed....

Those are sheilded clearance / marker lights for Farm Trailers, Big Rigs, Large Flat Bed Trucks, Rollbacks, Tow Trucks, etc. Most truck stops and farm related hardware stores should carry them. I replaced quite a few of those when I was working at a Truck and Trailer Parts / Service / Sales store. Hope this helps, -Scott H.
