|  62 cushman truckster resto...need ring gear hello all....i have a 62 cushman truckster and am looking for the ring gear out of the rear end?i have one but it has 3 teeth missing\ anyone know if this can be welded? thanks, curt |

| Re: 62 cushman truckster resto...need ring gear yeah this has been quite the prodject....parts have been hard to find but i found almost everything so far.....that darn ring gear tho has eluded me for 6 months now....cant find one!....and i havent been able to find a doner axle either. thanks for the reply man. its like noone has anything for the 60's truckster.but everyone has 80's truckster parts |

| Re: 62 cushman truckster resto...need ring gear yeah man it is a 31 tooth gear....and if it was sitting one the table infront of you with the teeth up it measures....5 1/2 the inside is 3 3/4......if i flip it over it measures 3 1/2....any help at all man would be great....was gonna sell this truckster but dident want to just weld that gear and put it in if i can find one ill fix it right. what do you think about tig welding the teeth back on that gear? |
