Back firing
Robyn 244cc motor runs great,has a lot of power,but when you let up off the accelerator it will back fire thru the muffler.could used any help in right direction.Thanks

there is a screw on top of your carb that holds the flap from shutting all the way when you let off your throttle...this is an Idle screw and these carts dont idle...try taking that screw out and try again.

backfiring is a common topic on here. It's usually the butterfly valve not closing tight enough (check the spring) or checkk the muffler gasket for leaks.
