My old harley three wheeler
Here's some shots of an old (not sure of the year) Harley cart I rebuilt. Got it cheap from a buddy at the lake. Said it was making a screeching sound and then locked up. Ended up it was the aluminum band that directed air around the cylinder to keep it cool. The screw came out and it was rubbing on the frame. That was his "screeching" sound. I guess it just over heated and locked up. Now it runs like a top!

Re: My old harley three wheeler
Thanks a bunch. We love that old thing.
I've been playing with cars all my life, and I think I'm actually having more fun with carts. Keep an eye out in the "Big Block" section, I'll be starting a thread on my Club Car Carry All build there any day now. Clint |

Beautiful restoration!
I'm taking on a Turf Rider IV restoration this summer, and like yours, it's a three-wheeler. Love your wheels. What are they, and what did you need to do to mount the front wheel? |

Re: My old harley three wheeler
Love what you did, it looks great. I just purchased a '64, looks the same as yours. It does need a bit of work, doesn't run, but the body/frame are decent. I have to do some work first to see if it will run. Once I get it running I will start my restoration. Great job again!

I don't remember for sure the brand on these wheels and tires. I bought them from an on line place in Colorado, but they shipped from central Illinois. I didn't have to do anything special at all. It uses a 4 x 4 hub just like the rear, but there's an axle running through the center. |
