Re: Cushman Mailster
Depends on how you like restoration projects. That is most definitely one of the cost looking old Cushmans I've ever seen, and I see a lot of potential in it, but restorations of the level which that will require are not for everyone.

Re: Cushman Mailster
I restored an old Cushman about two years ago. I spent lots of $$ on a labor of love as I owned them when I was a kid to drive to and from school. It took me about 6 months of every weekend cutting, sanding, restoring and fabricating parts. It is difficult to find parts for them and if you are going for near original it can be really hard. I tried that route and then decided to do a custom because I could not find all the original parts needed. Once it was done It won just about every car/bike show I put it in, I soon got bored with it because it only seated one or a tight two up front so It wasn’t practical. I sold it and bought a golf cart that carries four. I can tell you that you will not recover the money you put into it unless you are very lucky. The audience looking for these is very small.
Good Luck |

Re: Cushman Mailster
The windshield is in demand and may be savable. Not sure if the rest is worth much. It's going to be very difficult finding the parts that are missing, but iy might be worth getting if you can find a couple of them to combine to make one good one. Don't pay much for it.
