Pargo Restoration - advice needed!
Hello everyone,
I recently was given a 4-wheel Pargo golf cart(whoo freebies!) and got thrown into the world of carts which I previously knew nothing about. I have been reading off of buggiesgonewild for months and finally decided to dive in myself. The first thing I did was buy a new set of 6 exide batteries and hooked them up. Sadly, I never got the cart running. I ended up pulling the Westinghouse engine(?) off of the cart and it seems to be the culprit. I have since returned the batteries and am stuck as to what I sold do with the cart. I am currently disassembling the entire cart and repainting it, since it was indeed very rusty. I have pictures of my current progress attached. Also, if anyone has any ability to pinpoint the year and model of the cart, I have attached pictures of the engine tag and the information on the Terrell transmission. It's serial number is #734250 Since batteries run $600 and the motor is a minimum of $400, I feel like I could convert the cart to gas for under $300-500. Any advice on performing that? |
