I love your motor home too ! It looks awesome. My friend built one from a bus that he gutted and it is such a nice looking motor home with top of the line things throughout. Just last year he started building decks with collapsable railings for people and it caught on big time. He has done willy nelson, toby keith, and taylor swifts just to mention a few. I did find a new break pad online today and was pertty excited. Once I close up at the shore I will start on mine again. I will have to print out a picture of your cart and put it up in my garage for inspiration.

Ken, that makes 2 bucket list items I can check off this year. I was in a parade and now I've been an inspiration!.....well sort of.....the cart is an inspiration...lol

Very kind words, thank you.

The interior of our coach is pretty original. It does have a new microwave and a new Norcold refrigerator. However much of it is still as it was in 1972. I do kind of like it that way but would like to reupholster everything and do a bunch of fine woodwork (a hobby) in a nautically inspired design. I've got 19 years to retirement so one thing at a time.

Can't wait to see your cart...ours is a ton of fun to drive and quite unique these days.

Good luck!

Bob

Hello all,

Well, we've enjoyed our cart for 2 years and now it's time to let her go. We used the cart at horse shows to travel from the motorhome to the barn but I'm always paranoid that we'll scratch her or get stolen. This cart gets LOTS of attention.

As a result we purchased a Yamaha Rhino for our 2016 season that has a truck bed for saddles and hay, the Golfster would be much better suited getting shown off around an RV park or a golf course.

If you're interested we're looking for around $4500 for her and I'm posting here first since this site was so helpful in her restoration. I will post on Craigslist next week and then eBay as a last resort.

The post contains most of her specifics but the short and sweet:
1968 Cushman Golfster 400
Restoration in 2014 included
New paint
1999 Club car engine, no smoke does not burn a drop of oil.
New brake lining
New suspension mounts
New battery in 2015
New belts
New tires
New upholstery
New wood and carpet
New electrical system
Runs and stops as it should

We're in Massillon OH and my phone is 330 327 7069.

Thanks for all the help and interest,

Bob

I wish you the best of luck selling your awesome cart. I have a picture of it on my phone from the last time we spoke and everyone says how nice it is. I hope it finds a great home and that they take pride in it as much as you did. Ken
