Low Profiles / Losing air in tires
First post on here, first off - Hey!
I'm having problems on my G-16 with the front tires holding air. They're 12" - 205/30/12's. Keep losing air around the bead. 2 of them hold air ok, 2 of them go down. Tried different pressures, took 1 off the bead to clean bead up, etc. It varies, too. One just started not too long ago, and the other will sometimes be ok for a week, then other times 1 day. When I had the rim off and tried to reseat it, I could get it to leak in different areas of the bead by hand pressure. This doesn't seem right and is getting old. Does anyone make tubes for these, or will fix-flat solve this problem even though its not a stationary spot (hole). Thanks in advance, Scott |

Welcome to the forum hos.......................
All of the slime I have seen will cause the wheels to rust, of course, only if they are steel wheels. Most flat fixer shops will not fix a flat when they find it has slime in it. ---------------------------------- Are you sure the tires and wheels are exact matches for each other? There are ATV tires that are not standard 8, 10, & 12 inch sizes. |

Not worried about slime, I generally do my own work, just wasn't sure if that worked on beads or not. Tire/wheel combo is good, bought them as they are matched components through a distributor.

Go back to the distributor and tell him, "WTF" they wont hold air.
If they are new he will probably make it good. |

Sounds like they cut the bead up a little during mounting. If thats the cae, the tire is ruined unless of course the rim is bummed. I have heard of some dealers selling "blems" for like a 100 bucks less than the normal selling price but not telling what they are. a lot of those will leak. |
