Default Broken Heatsink Mount - Problem?

Last night I was trying to get the rusted bolts out of the heatsink from the bottom and I broke it off in a small place where it mounts to the cart. Is this going to affect the heatsink at all? I'm not exactly sure how these work.

I'm not using the feet to remount it. I can't see wherelated it would affect anything where it broke.

Many modern controls don't even need a heatsink

with that in mind.....it wouldn't hurt a bit. its just a tiny corner. and if you weren't going to use the other foot to mount it, take it off too.
