Down another rabbit hole...And I blame you guys
Well, after spending a few DAYS reading the 1000's of pages of you guys building these kick*** carts i couldn't take it anymore. I was hoping that having a nice lifted cart already would be enough to satisfy my craving, but I was weak and the addiction was stronger than I. Purchased a 2010 CC DS right off the course and plan on lowering this thing and creating something respectable, although i doubt anywhere near the masterpieces you guys have built. Will take some time as i am not mechanically inclined but will get going. Thank you all for all of the info during your builds but there is so much i have forgotten, i should have taken notes. One quick question to start with, when using air shocks do you NEED to have a tank? I know that may sound silly but a compressor that can unload 2.5 cf/m should be able to handle the task...or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your help. And please keep your fingers crossed for me.

Re: Down another rabbit hole...And I blame you guys
Been going a little slow to start. I took the top/windshield off. Man, this thing looks tiny compared to my other cart, um, girlfriends cart. Ready to order a new Spartan body, blue. Trying to see if we can mount the compressor (Airbagit dc 480) in the space directly under the access panel. It's small so i think with a clever bracket we can make it work. I keep saying we as the guys at Kustom Karts are helping me as i dont have a welder or torches. plan on using '67 corvette air shocks. Like the Wicked 57 tires, rims from doubletake but dont know if they will fit until after the work is done. I will be putting on Corbeau 40" Baja Bench seat. Amps in the bag well and trying to make a trunk lid out of aluminum formed to the contour of the new body. Will be hinged at the back/bottom of the subwoofer enclosure and cooling fans in bag well to keep them cool. New dash of course and then trim out with new stainless bumpers and rocker panels. Going for a clean simple coupe type look. Thanks guys for the interest and as we go along any of you think i am going in the wrong direction PLEASE speak up. Thanks in advance.
