Wheel Spacer
Any pics of non lifted low profile carts with wheel spacers?
Whats you opinion on the stud type wheel spacers? |

I know our golf cart generally don't go fast (stock) but either way id would NEVER use the stud type spacers. use this style IMO. the below link is for metric carts.

And why wouldn't use the stud type spacers?. Have you had a problem with them?? I my self, have never seen one thread here about the stud spacers failing or a problem with them.

Got ya. There is a lot of members here that has used them over the years, and I have never seen one thread about they had a problem with them. Though maybe you heard something bad

Should I use thread locker with these? If so red or blue? Also how tight should I torque these? Thanks.

I'm using 2.5" spacers on my G2, there the stud type. They have an allyn socket in the outside end. I tightened the stud into the spacer as tight as I could get it with a standard allyn wrench - then a small thump with a rubber mallet to finish it off. I've never had a problem and I torque the lug nuts 45-50 lbs. You didn't say what type ride you have, G2's or Yamaha's are metric and a 1/2" - 20 lug nut will start on and when you impact it tight will destroy the studs so don't mix up your lug nuts.
