2000 TXT tires rubbing
Definitely a newbie, but I got the bug. I picked up a 2000 EZ GO freedom (great shape for its age) that we tool around in the neighborhood on. I have been adding little things here and there to it and have enjoyed have something new to tinker with in the garage. Anyways, I came across a great deal on some used 12" wheels, the kicker was they had 215/50/12 and had a feeling they would rub, especially with some worn out suspension gear (shocks/springs). I got em home and they definitely rub with hard turns, probably need 1" to be clear.. I really don't want to lift it, should I sell them and just go down to the 215/40/12's, or is there something I can do to get that little bit of clearance. Curious if you think new springs/shock or even a heavy duty spring would work, it doesn't rub at all without a load.. Thanks for any advice guys!
