04 Ezgo ride quality issues wanna go air shocks
This is the wife's cart so need comfortable ride.
Cart info( being torn down this winter for repaint 28 mph ) 04 PDS (was a plant life cart so people abused it/also sat in 2016 flood and never touched till 2017 when i got it.) Lowered using EZGO kit front and rear. Stock shocks all the way around ( prolly shot but read wont affect ride ) 14" rims tires (backlash 215/35/14) 12 pound air) Always had a driver side lean. My issue is ride quality. Front sucks. Very bumpy. Still on stock springs of big and small leaf. Wanna add new shocks (air or stock) Kinda like the air idea.. What ever gives a smoother ride. When i say its rough its ROUGH. What i read was alot of folks when lowering just remove the smaller leaf up front and flip them. Since im on EZGO front i dont think i should flip as it may lower the front to much. But should flip if i do air shocks. So my questions are below. 1. If i do Air shocks should I flip and remove lower? Will go as low as allowed when parked ? 2. If stock shocks dont flip so front stays level with back? 3. I should drill the back blocks hole forward to center back wheel better ? Any help greatly appreciated.. |
