need help making first purchase
hello all. my names chris, im 24, from miami, and im looking to buy my first cart / car (not sure how that goes yet). i attend alot of car shows and want something that i can use to get around. i dont know much about carts so im hoping you guys can give me some sugestions. im on a very low budget so i want something i can pick up for cheap but something that is some what modern or can be upgraded cheaply. i plan on bagging it, adding a system, and some wheels. i need something that has some decent speed as well. thanks for the help.

First off, WELCOME.
Second, are you leaning more towards electric or gas? |

Cost will be relative to how much of the work you can do and how much you have to farm out.

Re: need help making first purchase
If you want it to lay frame, look for one that has a steel chassis to begin with.
From my experience a lot of the newer carts have an aluminium frame. My cart's frame is all steel tube, so it made it a little easier to work with. Having said that, I had to remove the entire rear clip from the motor back and start from scratch. Check out my build up if you're interested, and hit me up if I can be of help in anyway. There aren't many carts out there that actually lay! |
