Default 40 Ford Project

I started this project a couple of months ago.
Still got a long way to go though..lol

Here is the donor cart that I started with:

Here is the body I will be using. A 40 Ford Coupe Legend body.
I will have to do some modifications to it to get everything like I want it.
I just laid the fenders against it for the photo.

Here it is up on the jig with the body and rear end set in place.
I will end up widening the body approx. 8 inches.
After the center frame is done, it's off to the front and rear.

Rear End with 4 link Suspension.
I still have to make a diagonal bar.

Front Airbags mounted. I still need to box in the lower control arms around the bottom airbag plate.

Here is a couple of shots of the rear air bags mounted.

I hope to have the body back off this weekend, and the chassis off the frame jig.
I will have some better pictures then.

That is going to be the bomb! My favorite body style of all time! May I ask what your plans are for the split window? Will the center post be 8" wide?
