27mph and decent torque! Fast enough for now, next comes longtravel, disk brakes, and more volts!

I have a 2004 Honda 1000RR engine, I just got the new front suspension finished this weekend. I did a good shake down ride, feeling how it steered, slowly taking it up faster and testing the feel. A friend of mine drove his new Dodge Ram behind me, I stopped and launched it shifted through 4 of the gears and he said at 80 MPH I was pulling away from him fast. The steering felt real good and I'm ready now to take it to Lakeland speedway for a 1/4 mile run. I think it will make it into the 11's maybe even the 10 second bracket, but I will be happy with a 12, (golf cart in the 12's??) It is crazy fasst and will spin those wide tires pretty good. If anyone wants to see my complete build it on this site-"finally getting started" it shows all of the build from the beginning.

Alot of members know by now but I ran my cart at Douglas Motorsports park at a Golf cart drag race we had, my best time was an 8.80 @ 80 Mph in the 1/8th mile, I got beat by Krazy Karts electric cart it was faster in the 1/8th but I think I would have a faster top speed, if I had guts enough to find out what top speed would actually be.

I was clocked by the man at 54 in a 45 during school......the only reason I did not get a ticket is because he said they would not believe him that a golf cart went that fast and that was with a modded 400 john deere spitfire engine. LOL!

I have a NOS cuyuna 440 engine sitting in the crate that came from a Scorpion dealership auction. Would this make a cart haul ?
Wish I could find a cart with a blown engine. Raz |
