Ez-air
I have been playing around with the idea to air bag my 04 TXT and ended up going with air shocks
instead. It was pretty straight forward after a few hours of me and my brother starring at the front end. Here is what we came up with: we flipped the front leafs and relocated the shock mounts: Here is ride hight: This is with all air out of shocks: With air out of shocks it can still be driven but there is still some rub but only at full lock. In the rear for now we just blocked it with 2in square tube. Here is a straight on look I have the tank and gauges on the way and will post more pic's and a video soon. |

Re: Ez-air
Man thats bitchin. Whats the part numbers on the shocks? Might have to take my lift back off now and switch it back to a the drop that I had. Have you thought about 2linking the rear yet?

Re: Ez-air
part number NS MA705 and fully compressed is 10.8" would have like shorter but moving the braket lower work just fine. Any thing shorter would have been from a bike and the price jumped into the $150 plus range as these shock where just $75 a pair! |

Re: Ez-air
Still not bad. -1- firestone 2500 sill run you $69+S&H.
Amazon has them for $54.00 shipped. http://www.amazon.com/Monroe-MA705-M.../dp/B000C53XMK You right. I would almost prefer for them to have a longer stroke. The more lift you will get unless you canti-lever it with a smaller stroke. How much did you lower the front before you added the shocks? |

Re: Ez-air
All I did was flip the front leafs and that gave me about 2" to 2 1/2". I could take the air shock out and it will still sit the same height you see in the pic's. But it does need to be lifted a bit other wise the steering does bind.
