Default 14" wheels

I am contemplating wheels for my 2004 EZGO TXT. It is currently at stock ride height with new HD rear springs so it is not sagging. Does anyone know if you can fit 205/40-14 tires on it? They are suppossed to be about 21" high. I had a club car DS that had problems fitting 215 12" with stock setup but I hear the EZGO will take a larger wheel. I think the 14's will look really great but don't want a rubbing nighmare either.

So has anyone done it or have a photo of a TXT cart with these wheels on it??

That looks great. You may have me back from thinking of going with 12's.

go with 14's. If you get 12's down the road you will ask, " why didn't I just go with 14's". At least that's my approach

Same here. I figured if they did not fit I would trim till they did. Lol

Decision Made! I am going to order the ITP 14" SS112 in chrome! The one on the cart in the photo is actually a 12" wheel. I was thinking of the SS212 but they are not available in a "golf fit" 14" chrome.

OK I may have an issue. The SS112 Chrome wheels I have been quoted for are 6" wheels with a 3+3 offset (centered) I know I am suppossed tonhave an offset wheel to fit well on the EZGO. Can I use a 1" adapter or is that going the wrong way?

No need for the adapter i have the ss112's on my cart and dont have any problems. They are also centered and my cart is lowered 2 inches. The only downside is the ride its rough but they look so good that i deal with it.

I went ahead and ordered the Tempest 7" wide wheels in chrome. They are the same wheels that [Andy] has on his cart except chrome. I kept wavering and what to order so at least I made a decision. They will be here on Monday. :-)
