How high to lift?
Not sure I'm in the right forum but here goes. I am about to buy a 2008 Precedent. It 's going to be built with a 6 inch lift kit but is there a "shorter" option to this? Maybe a 3 inch? I will not be off roading but I like the look of a raised car. Regardless of the size I go with, what would be the recommendation for tire size? I appreciate all replies folks. THANKS! By the way, does anyone have a picture of a 3" lift or know where I could find one? How does the cost compare to the 6" lift?

Re: How high to lift?
I just went through the same thing your going through. The decision on how high to go and what type tire. I finally went stock height because I wanted a good look on the course and I couldn't find a good looking golf course approved tire.
I would ask yourself what is the primary purpose of the cart and go from there. Why are you thinking of lifting it? |

Re: How high to lift?
there are 3" lifts available I believe, and I would put 23's on them if ur going to put all terrains on, just make sure to get the proper offset

Re: How high to lift?
23" won't fit. 20" would be the max. I had 22's on mine with a 6" lift and it still rubbed a bit...

Re: How high to lift?
Can get 3" Jakes spendle lift, cost same as 6", and can go with a 10 or 12 inch rim with with low pro tire if your running golf corse.

are there disadvantages to lifting a cart regardless of how high it is lifted? How does it affect driving and handling?

Re: How high to lift?
The higher you go the more top heavy they become. Mine on 8 inch lift with 24 inch tires rides better now than the stock ride across the field, I kept the factory leafs and did not go to the heavy duty ones for that reason. They ride stiff already why make it stiffer but because of it I do get a little more lean in a turn but nothing that's unsafe at a normal operating condition.
