Default A little help with wheels please.

I have a 99 series EZGO that I am planning on lowering soon. I have the shocks on order and needed a little help with the wheels. I looked at HotCat's thread and seen the wheels that he used and noted the offset at 5:2. I am looking at these wheels for mine on a site sponsors page but they say 2:5 offset and they will work for a non lifted cart, http://trademarkcarts.com/product/34...ire-ulpgtxhd1b. I hope that these will work for what I am planning, I would like them to tuck under the fenders like others that have lowered these EZGO carts. Thanks for the help and I will be posting photos soon if they will work for me.

First number is the measurement from the center of the rim to the backside lip of the rim, towards axle. Second number is from the center out.

The 5:2 offset will let you "tuck" the wheels. The 2:5 will push the wheel/tire out from under the wheel well.

Sorry but hope this helps.

Just call Trademark or just about any other site sponsor and tell them what you need. They can get them. Those ITP SS112 wheel/tire sets all pretty much come from Stretch Plastics and most if not all of the site sponsors are Stretch dealers. I'm running the 12" 5/2 SS112's on the front and 14" 3/3 SS112's on the back of mine. Same wheel as HotCat just running the 14's in the back on mine.

Thanks Terry. I got ahold of Trademark and they said they cannot help me out. I have found some elsewhere though. You cannot put the 5-2 on the back if I measured correctly, should be a 3-3 like you have or a 4-3? Looks like it would hit the springs if you try the 5-2, is that correct? Thanks again for the help with the wheels I will post some pics as I start to build.

No, the same as the front will work on the back. Several guys are running them. I just wanted the look and the taller profile of the 14's which are only offered in 6" width with no offest. I had the 5/2 12's on the back to begin with. Either will work.

Ok, that helps. I found some but they come as a set of four all the same offset. Thanks again for the insight.

I ran the ss112 in 12" w/ 5+2 offset on all corners. I loved them. If I lowered another I would do it again. They don't make many 12" wheels for 4/4 bolt pattern in that offset. Anyway, they will fit.

Yeah they do not make a whole lot to choose from in that offset that I could find either. I was looking for something other than what had been used. I do like the look of the 112's but did not want to copy others. Oh well, I will just make sure that I do something else different like my seats or paint scheme to make it my own. Thanks for the reply DoubleTake.

You could always get the ss112 powder coated black or another color. Hate to do that to new wheels though. I would like to see them in all black.
