Default Lowered Club Car project under way

Hey all!

Getting ready to lower this CC I've had setting around. Nobody wanted to buy it off of Craigslist so I might as well waste some time on it.

I searched the threads to lower it and it seems pretty straight forward. If anybody has any information they think I should know please share.

In the meantime I wil post pics when I can.

Appears to be a great cart. Might as well 'go for it' since no one was interested in buying. Probably turn out to be something you'll never want to get rid of.

That's what I was thinking because when I do something like this I jump in with both feet and go way over the top much to the chagrin of my wife.

Looking forward to the challenge for sure!

Hide it! If she says anything, just tell her it was going to be a suprise present for her.

We've been married 13 years. She knows me all to well to pull that off.

I'm just going to do it because it's much easier asking for forgiveness than it is for permission.

Thanks Jeff!

It's not going to be too crazy, just a nice clean and simple ride.

More pics to come.

Here are some pics of the front lowered. I just need to ace the glove boxes and construct a new shock bracket. The tire does rub a little on the cowl but with some unnoticeable trimming that will be fine. I don't plan on going with the stock tires but I would like to keep the stock rims because I plan on painting them. Does anyone offer a lower profile tire that fits on a stock steel rim? That would make things perfect as it would give me more drop and more cowl clearance.

Thanks for checking it out!
