Default 2008 Precedent Build The Street Machine

So I have been searching for a cart for almost 2 years and decided on this 2008.5 CC Precedent. After the first test drive I had to have it. I started off by making a list of things I wanted and after crossing things off here and there I decided to build a Street Machine. Everyone else at our campground has a lifted cart and I like to be different. So here goes the build...I started 3 weeks ago and this is the progress so far.... First day we brought the cart home.

First thing I did was add a folding backseat. Then came the wheels and tires. 12" wheels and 215/40/tires. The tires were 19" tall and I was sure they would fit with no problem since the stockers were 18.5 and I had plenty of clearance. Well...they fit but will rub with people on the back. I just ordered HD springs for the back and if that doesnt help I will trim the fenders and then add extended fender flares (adding them one way or another since I think they look sweet) On to the headlights for the late night joy rides...

Got the tail lights put in yesterday. I had to run all the wires as the 2008.5 and up do not come with the wires run for the tailights. Fun time though

Tonight I hooked up the 450 watt amp, 2 Polk 6.5's, and an 8" sub. I like the location I chose for the speakers. They look bada$$ and sound awesome. The amp is placed in a good spot too as I have easy access to the rca wires to play my ipod.

Also added arm rests with cup holders to the back. Great looking and functional yet you cannot flip the rear seat with them like this. Tomorrow I will be reconfiguring them

UPS just stopped by with a couple more packages.. I ordered a speedylink type device with a toggle switch installed. I clocked my cart in stock trim with my GPS app at 16mph. I am hoping with the rim/tire combo and the speedylink to get around 20mph. My underbody LED's and HD springs also came. Will post pics once installed. Oh, and I have the hood off now testing my painting skills. I am thinking stralight black (black w/ silver metallic) with some silver accents stripes.
