Default Lowering a Yamaha G22, maybe a "the drive"

Owner wanted a "lowered" G22 to match the fiberglass body and wheels better. It was really an easy project. First the back. Yamaha G8-A "front" shocks. Bolt up easy after cutting some "bushing" metal at the top mount point. They seem "stiff enough.

The front end was easier than I thought. The front "strut's" have a "bracket" welded onto them at a heighth for the original "camber"/"caster" setting. We cut of the "king pin" bracket with a die grinder (on a 45 degree) on the weld and moved the king pin brackets up 2 inches. Tach welded..looked at it and good to go! Rewelded inside and out and now stronger than original. These are not the best pic's in the world, but you can see my point. Later Dave
