Default PROJECT - RXV Lowering Kit Installation

So, I ordered a 2" lowering kit from All Sports and it arrived today. This is what my cart looks like now, before installation of the lowering kit.

Since the kit came with NO instructions, I am awaiting a call back from All Sports so I can get the installation started. I hate that I set aside the time this morning to install this kit and now I can't until they call me back.

Note to retailers....INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

Well, after 4 hours of work I got the front end finished. I will warn you, if you do not have any automotive or golf cart repair experience, it is very challenging. Thanks to having the owner of All Sports giving me his cell number for technical support I finally got it done.

Here's the problem. I should have bought my rims with lowering the cart in mind. My wheel offset is not ideal for this project. The wheels stick out too far and I get some rubbing issues.

You need to call All Sports and let them hook you up. Tell them your set-up and they can point you in the right direction. I will be undoing what I did this weekend and sending it back. It certainly does what it advertises, it just won't work in my situation.

What is your wheel offset?

I think the problem maybe that they advertise their kit as adding 2.5" to the track. I wondering if that was a mis-nomer until seeing these pics. I have the same wheels and tires so thanks for the experience!
I am now back to considering just cutting the front springs... Anybody done that?
