Default Wheel offset when dropped

I have a txt ez go and am ordering the factory drop kit and want to tuck 14" wheels and tires (I have a back seat and do ride 5 people all the time). What off set is recommended and do I need a 6" wide or can I do a 7"?
Finally, do I need air shocks in the rear to hold the people or is this set up to carry people? I have a seventh battery and a sub box/amp so I know I am heavier than most.
Thanks for the help guys;
Greg

I have the ss312 centered offset and they tuck just fine front is 1/4" from hitting if I turn sharp it barley makes a little contact and I drive it hard make sure you run a 215/30/14 are 205/30/14

I'm running 10x7 centered wheels and the offset is perfect for tucking IMO. Now obviously there is a huge difference in 10 and 14's but offset is offset. I don't have any idea how low yours will be on the factory drop though, mine is on air and I build a 2 link rear to soften it up some and allow more movement. The factory leaf springs didn't give me enough travel. If you add air shocks to the back, you may need to move the lower mount, the ones everyone seems to be using are substantially longer than stock. If you look at hotcat or TerryH's threads there is a ton of info. That's where I got ideas from. The shocks are Monroe MA705's IIRC.

Good luck!
