From lift to lowered
I have a txt w 4-5" lift, I bought it this way, 12" and 22"s. I just got the ezgo 3" drop for txt w 14" wheels and as I am putting this together nothing works right. When you lift a txt do you replace the front member and spindle? Steering doesn't line up, front offset is more than it should be and so on. My hope is the lift come w spindles that push wheels out for clearance, which means if I can find stock parts I'll be back where it should be. Any ideas?!

Re: From lift to lowered
After looking at ezgo site, I have the lift beam and my spindles are stock height but have raised inputs for steering rack and tie rod, and are also much wider from hub to the beam so big tires will be outside for clearance. I need the stock location parts for the drop...

Re: From lift to lowered
My lift was spindles and beam, so replacing beam to a dropped leaves crazy angles on everything else and they are offset a bunch more than stock.

Re: From lift to lowered
maybe someone will want to lift theirs and trade their stock parts and some cash for your lifted stuff. maybe find a local dealer to maybe trade or make another post wanting to sell or trade.

Re: From lift to lowered
you maybe able to hit your local dealer and get a complete frt axle assy for cheap. I sold them for $150 bucks hub to hub. Then you can sell you lift locally for $150 and be out nothing. OR ask the dealer to see if they will swap. If I was your dealer I would swap. I prob had 100 of those frt ends out back.

Re: From lift to lowered
I got it all done finally....and it won't roll...it's slammed, but useless. Not cool after $1000 and a day of work. Hopefully ezgo has good customer service and can lend some assistance. Btw, the front has 1/2" of travel....is this by design?!
