Default CedzGo TXT Build

Well, I've been lurking and posting a little for a little while now, and I guess it's time to start a build thread. First off, thanks to all of the advice and guidance that I've received from everyone here on BGW!!!

I'll try not to talk too much, and post plenty of pictures...

Nothing much to post just yet. It's a simple 1998 EzGo TXT with a 400A controller. Everything else stock for now, but it runs 22mph all day on stock tires...

Here is how it all started...

Nudity. She's all stripped down and ready for me to start throwing $ at her...

So far, I've added headlights, and paint. I'm also working on a deal for the wheels pictured below. Please pardon my dusty paint. I've been working hard on it, and haven't had time to clean her.

Paint. I painted it myself with a cheap Harbor Freight paint gun... I'll probably end up re-painting it as I rushed this job, and didn't do any bondo work to cover up the deep scratches int the plastic.

Here's how I want it to sit...

Too much lift. Was only looking for 2 inches...

Thanks, Man!!! She looks allot better shined up. Your cart is sick too!!!

Question everyone. I know my springs are about shot. The buggie does alright with these oversized tires on it, but could use a little stiffening and/or lift. It only scurbs on the front under evasive maneuvers.

Here's my question... The cart sags on the drivers side, and my 215lb arse probably adds to it. Anybody think new HD springs would alleviate this situation, should I fab up a 2 inch lift, or do both?

Also: What's up with the midrise lift being only offered for 2001 and later TXTs? Anybody make a lift for earlier model TXTs?

Thanks Team BGW!!!

HD springs will help the issue. most of these course carts springs are worn/flattened out after 1 year.

Carts looking good dude. The paint color goes very well with the wheels. Are you keeping the foglights along with the headlights? I like them all together

Courtesy: I just sent you an email. I've ordered a pair of springs, but if you can get me a price real quick, I may be able to cancel the order and go through you. I live about 10 miles away from you...

Also: What's the difference between the springs for the 2001 and later txt and the springs for the earlier models? Are the rear springs the same, and the front springs different?
I have a 1999, but can only find a midrise lift for 2001 and later.

Thanks...

Thanks Mikey. I checked out your build too. You are laying frame on everything.

I am keeping the foglights, but replacing them with slightly smaller LED foglights. With the way I use the cart, it's more about being seen that seeing...

Here is a quick picture I took yesterday. I'll post a pic of the lights when I get them finished. I'm also adding black seat covers today as well...

those wheels are a great size for it. its got a nice stance and looks super sporty. any lower and it would look unusable....i know i know thats weird coming from me lol. if it had adjustable suspension this would be perfect ride height. that black seat cover will go nice with that blue. you going topless or putting it back on?
