New front suspension for 72 volt Drive
Just wanted to post a few pics of my new front suspension. Since there is no easy way to lower these carts I came up with this idea. I took a Jake's long travel kit and flipped the a- arms and raised the shock mount. I also installed a front disc brake kit while I was at it. The handling is much better with this set up at 35mph.

Looks nice. Can you show a pic of the rear? Was wondering what you have covering the bagwell area.

Thanks for the compliments. That is a Yamaha storage trunk. I originally planned to put my two extra batteries in there, but it wasn't big enough for both.

Now, that's how you use your brain. Awesome buggie, Man. Do you have any more detailed pictures of the install?
Also: Interesting user name for a fellow Alabamer... Got any pics of your GTO? Here's mine. Not trying to jack, or anything. Just got excited when I saw you username... |

Re: New front suspension for 72 volt Drive
Here is another pic of the suspension without the body. The install was the same as if it was being used as a lift kit, other than flipping the a arms, moving the shocks to the factory shock mounting hole, and installing the tie rod ends from the bottom. The great part is if I ever want to lift the cart just flip everything back over and install rear lift brackets. The a-arms don't have a lot of down travel because of the angle of the heims but on a street cart it has plenty.

Me likes. Me likes!!! The Goat and the Buggie.
It looks like that lowering kit will also kick the front tires out far enough to miss the brake levers, steering columns, etc. Looks like a buggie snowmobile. Any binding with it lowered like that? How is the tow in/out? How is the camber? |

Thanks, everything adjusted out good, the shocks could stand to be firmer for street use though. Overall I am very happy with it.
