Hi guys I have the chance to buy some new rims very cheap they come with tires 205/45R16*I have a ezgo txt 2005 with new suspension fitted with a two inch lift. Will these wheels fit or do I need a bigger lift.

I would say not and i would question the bolt pattern on the wheels being 5 lug and your cart being 4 lug

Hi swan I don't know where you got the five lug from but you are wrong the wheels I have found are four lug I just need to know if the diameter will fit.

205 / 45 /16

205 is the width of the tire not including marking , raised letters in MM.
45 is the % of the width in MM , roughly 92MM of sidewall not including thread per side
16 is the rim size

92mm + 92mm +16 "

this is rough estimate of size going by the number given . estimate will vary a little with the actual rim width

Ok thanks for that. That means that the total diameter of wheel and tires will be about 23 inches . Has anyone fitted wheels this big to an ezgo with a two inch lift or do I need to get a bigger lift kit. Thanks

Ok---I will give you my best answer---they will not fit with only a 2 inch lift. I have a 1.5 inch lift with 21 inch diameter tires and they just barely fit. You will more than likely need a 4 inch lift for that tire and wheel combo.

Its hard to say with no pics of the cart of a true measurement of the tires. As a guide you can use a tape measure from the center of the axle hub out 12/13 inches in all directions. but keep in mind you need clearance for spring and shock movememt when driving. I would say you need a 6 inch lift sight unseen

I agree , my Club Car has a 6 in lift and 23 inch tires and they just bareley work for my likes. occasionally rub.
