Do you have a upgraded 200rpm drive clutch spring installed? I installed that spring, and that was what happened to my 04 precedent. It allowed the motor to rev up just a bit, and then the clutch would engage causing the cart to jerk forward. I changed it back to stock. I have done alot of Mods to my cart, from removing the governor, re-routing the throttle cable directly to the carb bypassing the governor cable( much better throttle response than stock ) removing the engine kill switch on the pedal module, to having my clutches Machined and a torque clutch installed with a new severe duty belt.
