Default Re: Bolt stuck on resistor coil standoff

I just bought new coils and standoff bolts last week from blockbustergolfcars p/n 6755. Had to cut the old standoffs off. Mine were so burned and corroded, they had to go. The best way to get them off is to use two socket wrenches, lay under the cart, and try to turn them both at the same time without letting the bolt spin at all. I fudged up the fiberglass when mine turned on me. Like I said, I just cut them off with a grinder and started over. Best thing I could have done...

Oh, and I'd go with 4 gauge wire if I were you. I feel the 6 gauge is undersized. I changed out the 6 gauge and the 4 gauge doesn't get as warm. ANY time a wire gets warm, it's because the current demand it too great for the wire, and my wires get pretty darn warm. Maybe also because I am running a modified motor.
