Default Re: Suspension Fab q's

OH YEA!!!!

Yamaha has rear steer racks (take a look at the rack I installed in my thread) and I believe on later years some have front steer (don't hold my feet to the fire over the later models). Club Car has front steer racks on later models. The rest I don't know about theirs. I also have a line on some small racks that are even shorter and used in a very abusive enviorment and appear to hold up. Look into mini-sprints, for the rack.

I would use at least a 3/4 inch heym. When I was building race cars 3/4 and 1 inch were a must for the abuse. 3/4 inch heyms equals out to 3/4 inch tubing. 1 inch will be stronger but just a little heavier, might be worth the trade off though if you plan on rough riding. And be easier to fab shock mounting bracket to the tubing.

Next and the most important for all of us here is ...Where's the pics? Lets see what you are starting with and maybe some has already worked with that before and can give you some heads up.

And welcome aboard to the nuthouse.
