What a silly question...why.....
...well....that's a good question. Also, the jack it up and spin the tire\wheel is a great test to see where said noise could be coming from. A stick....stuck in the inside of the wheel could be the issue. Maybe a cruel neighbor clothes pinned a baseball card to the inside of the hub?
