After looking at your pictures on a real screen, and not my phone, it's worse than I thought. You cracked a steel cylinder. It looks like a bomb went off in there. I would split the case just to inspect the halves for damage. This is a link to just a top end.

You definitely need the top end. If it was me, I would change the crankshaft bearings at a minimum. And only a fool would take it that far apart, and not change the seals too.
Grab the rod. See if it moves up, and down. That would be a bad thing. Side to side is ok. If the rod is sloppy, that requires an entire crankshaft. The pdf is your manual. The only difference is that your cart has an extra microswitch located at the lower passenger side of the FnR switch.
