Sounds like you may be replacing a bunch of unnecessary parts. Use the search function, do some reading on this forum to help you diagnose the problems you are having. If you still can't figure it out, post your problems and we will see if we can help.

Voltage regulator, fuel pump, and CDI system have no effect on the engine cranking over. If the engine cranks over in reverse, the starter is OK. To the starter,the only difference in cranking over in forward or reverse is the polarity of the current supplied to it.
