Default B&S model ID help

Hello,
New cart owner here... it's a Yamaha with a 16HP Vanguard V Twin, at least
that's what it has on the air filter cover. There are no tags or numbers in the normal places. It has black tins and air filter. I need a flywheel/ring gear and I really need the numbers to order. Any help would be appreciated, thanks Don

Welcome to BGW!

Should have a number stamped on the engine block, just not sure where.

Thanks,
It's suppose to be on the fan shroud or the valve cover, but nothing there.
I called B&S and their support sucks...I'm between a rock and hard spot without the numbers. Maybe I'll sell it buy a Honda, ha

If you pull the engine and remove the flywheel I think you will be able to find a part #. I just had mine off to install a timing key and I remember seeing a number on there.

Yes I did, I took a chance and bought a flywheel off Ebay for a Model # 303447
1295-E1 code 99020311 and it fit. The guy I bought it from also had the stater
& regulator which I also bought, so I ended up spending $78.00 for all of it and it starts and runs great.
Thanks for asking.
