My son's buck
On opening weekend of deer season here in Texas my 12 year old son bagged a good 8 point buck. I was real proud of him because he had to get on him quick and make the shot. One shot with a .243 buck sit down then fell over. 175 lb. live weight a good size Texas deer.
As you will notice we utilize the golf cart. It wasn't easy to get the deer on the cart. Buford |

Re: My son's buck
Buford tell those boys congrats on there deer. You might want to consider adding a hitch and put a rack on the back. makes it easy to load those deer. Only have to lift them 2 feet off the ground and you can stack 2 or 3 deer easy.

Re: My son's buck
Mine has the flip flop seat like yours and a hitch. We put him on the foot rest. Just 175 lbs of limp weight was hard to do.
I have the reciever hitch on back and a winch that I plan to do something with just haven't done it yet. Buford |

Re: My son's buck
Nice buck!!! Real tall rack. How close was he to the 13" minimum. You hunt right down the road from me. Unfortunately all I harvested this year was hogs. They are plentiful to say the least & they've run the deer off. I just started hunting the property this year, so by next year I hope to have the hog # somewhat under control & the deer coming back.
