Tomberlin won't go over 5 mph
My Tomberlin suddenly stopped running right. It will take off like it's ready to run but stop once it reaches about 4 or 5 mph. If I turn the tow switch off and on and few times it will take off at full speed for about 20-25 feet and then throttle back to 4 or 5 mph. Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong. I'm growing really frustrated with this vehicle. It's a 2010 and there has been constantly something wrong with it. This is just the latest issue. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give me.

Under the seat there's a circle rubber insert on the cover of the controller, pull that off an you should see some blinking lights, count the blinks

Re: Tomberlin won't go over 5 mph
Hello, we are having the same problem with our 2010 Tomberlin. We tried to locate the lights described above. Is this the controller we should be looking at? We did not see any blinking lights. Does the key need to be in a particular position? If we should be looking somewhere else, please let us know. Thank you

You need a new pedal assembly, just one of the many common issues with tomberlin

Hello, You're describing the same issues that I have come across for 2009
Tomberlin e-merge. It's not my cart I'm just working on it for someone. But what I have found when I did a load test, I found a bad battery. It would drop down to around 4 volts on a load test. You may want to check your battery's |

Re: Tomberlin won't go over 5 mph
Just came across this problem myself. Controller is not showing any blinking lights. Is there a way to test/repair the pedal assembly or is this just something you have to buy and replace?

Re: Tomberlin won't go over 5 mph
I just took a look at the controller again and found the status light blinking one orange pause and then three quick flashing orange. Anyone know what that error code is indicating?
