Re: Can I SWAP bodys with a carryall
What kind of carts do you have? The only reason why Iam even entertaining this is because I didnt pay anything for it. It was given to me and it was not running. I got it running but I think it needs new batteries. It runs ok on flat ground but going up any incline its very sluggish and for a cart that was made for hauling with the dump if I were to put anything in the back iam not sure it would even move. Just trying to figure out if I should spend money to fix this up or just buy one.

Re: Can I SWAP bodys with a carryall
You would really be better off to find someone that wanted to trade carts with you, who had what you are looking for.
The body mounts within the aluminum as well as the seat & body supports would soon make it a no win situation. Massive aluminum cutting and welding and mostly engineering project would yield great depression I'm afraid. |

Re: Can I SWAP bodys with a carryall
That cart is definately worth keeping, I know here in Texas they are not easy to find. If you was given to you than you really did good and will have a great cart with a little time invested. Personally I would keep it the way it is, if you want rear seats maybe it would be less fabricating to build some removable seats or single bench so you still have the bed. If you really don't want the bed then you should have no problem trading that cart off with someone looking for what you have.

Re: Can I SWAP bodys with a carryall
I went out and looked. The tape measure says NO. Measuring from the front of the rear body to the rear axle:
Carryall 2 = 44 inches DS = 32 inches Just trade it while it still moves |
