Default EZ Go TXT Golf Cart Squeaky noise in the rear when decelerate

Hi All:

Love my 2008 EZ GO TXT (new shell, new wheel set, etc).

However, we noticed that it is squeaking in the rear when decelerate. We don't hear much when accelerating. See video below (ignore the rattling sound from the wind shield):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHZpWcN1yog

So far I changed all 4 shocks, replaced rear leaf spring bushing (4 on each side), and it is still squeaking.

I am running out of ideas... should I replace the rear leaf spring ?

Welcome E2 to BGW!

I am not an EZ GO guy but to me it sounds like something with the motor brake.

Lot's of threads on here about it.

I don't have any experience with them but many here do and they should chime in soon.

There are 6 bushings on each spring. 4 on the back and 2 on the front.

No motor brake on a TXT

He mentioned that he changed the bushings on the rear springs already. It only happening on decelleration sounds like the rear end.

mine sqeaked for awhile..I thought it was the plastic hubcabs.

I changed my hubs, brakes, oil seals and bearings...quiet as mouse now.

The often overlooked front bushings of the rear leaf springs can be the culprit in many noises and handling issues.

I believe that is Kernal's reference...

I have had one of the axel tubes rotating back and forth in the differential give me fits with an unusual and changing noise.

Just my $0.02....

I just did my bushings and my sqeak is gone. On advice I got here I put some moly grease on them and the bolts.
