48 volt upgrade
Well we are back home and here are the latest pictures of the upgrade. Man it feels good to be home.
The 2 extra batteries. Plexi glass cover I made. Still needs some work on it. Max speed with just the P/Q motor on 36 volts. After adding 2 more 6 volts, 48 volt, 400 amp Alltrax controller Here is the tire measurements Oh and I added a go pedal too! P/Q motor. I'm not done yet either!!! |

Re: 48 volt upgrade
That is good stuff! How is hole-shot and does speed come up pretty quick? What are you going to do with 23-mph motor? Keep up the good work and keep me posted! C-U later!

Re: 48 volt upgrade
Thanks guy's. I'm working on some other stuff to with it. The 23 MPH motor is the same motor just on 36 volts. I got the charger to charge but it want turn off so I guess I need the timer kit for it. I wonder if a 36 volt old timer out of a old ezgo charger would work? The torque is good it will spin the tires in the gravel at the park easy. It's a nice ride too!
