Default gas pedal mod

did this and now the cart starts as soon as I turn the key on. Is there something else I need to adjust to fix this?

What year/model cart is this??? You shouldn't have to adjust anything for the starter if it was done right. A microswitch is either hanging or out of adjustment. Look in the solenoid box.

It is a 2001I think, The motor is atleast

I looked in the box and the cam is moved all the way off the switch, so the car starts. I didn`t see any way to adjust that cept for shortening the rod a bit.

sounds like you pulled the cable to tight! the micro switch in the box is what puts voltage to silinoid to start the engine! lossen up the ties, george.

Doesn`t look like the zip tie has anything to do with it. I cut the zip tie and it still would start
