Field wire size
So I’m doing some cable upgrades and the stock wire size for the field shunt is 10AWG, I was thinking of going 8awg, would I actually gain anything or is 10 awg just fine? 2017 club car 48v. I’m installing Alltrax 500 controller and will get a different motor down the road.

does the wire get hot now ?
if after use you have hot wires they are too small up grades for more current flow will require bigger wires |
