Jakes Coilover Mounts
I have an older Jake's long travel and I'm using Fox's from a Polaris Predator. I welded new mounts on the lower a-arm based on some posts that I read on here and now I'm looking at an alternative for the upper mount to get away from the conical spacers but not sure if my thought is possibly flawed. I am considering using coilover mounts to the support bar to get away from the current set up. I know I would lose adjustability in the lift height but I also considering losing the Fox for air adjustable since cart is 50% beach and 50% street use. Any reason I shouldn't go away from the bolt and conical washer set up?

I would say having a double shear upper mount will be much stronger, but no necessary if you aren't jumping or really getting crazy off road. Normal use the current mount is fine.

Thanks for the input. I could foresee a challenge in finding the right tabs to work with a golf cart set up without getting them custom made.

Oh yeah you're definitely in the custom fabrication world with that. No off the shelf products to do what you're talking about. With that said, for anyone with moderate fabrication skills, it could be done fairly easily. But if you aren't into metal work, I'd leave it be.

If you don’t have the fab skills, then just find a bracket this is close and use spacers to get the bracket where you need it.
