Yep, one of the neighborhood big kids had a cart they dropped a saw motor on. Man that thing would move.

And bird those bikes are sweet

I bought a Honda crf 70 a couple of years ago and was ridiculed by the buddies. Changed out the rear spring with a pit bike spring to carry my large butt, new ho cdi module, smaller front sprocket and a break away shifter. Total investment $600. We ride it so much I bought a twin

Here's a go cart that I did also. I put a 6.5hp motor on it with electric key start. It came out nice but it was so much work. It was in really rough shape when I got it.

I was buying broken down bikes and fixing them and reselling them. I really didn't make allot considering the parts and time involved (maybe about $100 on average) but they were sure fun to restore.

Nice stuff. Really cool!

I had a 75cc Kawasaki with the small wheels. It would probably run 50 mph. Most dangerous thing you could ever put a kid on. The thing was still running after me and my 2 younger brothers went through it hand-me-down style.

so great to see these old pics... and yes, many great memories of riding an old mini bike.. Briggs 3.5 or 4 hp.. can't even recall now...1970s...even when I had reached the age for a drivers license.. i still loved hopping on the minibike, sand roads, golf course cart trails and even the back 2 lane road for about 10 miles to get to my girl friends house a couple times..couldn't get away with that today.
while there aren't any minibikes in my garage...it has crossed my mind... I still ride my honda Trail 90 at least weekly on my property trails and on the road as a licensed motorcycle when we are camp trips cross country..

thanks for sharing the pics ya'll
