84 Columbia three wheeler front wheel spindle removal
Ok, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I cannot get the front tire spindle off. I’ve turned discussions about just turning it off but it won’t come off. Any tips or ideas?

Re: 84 Columbia three wheeler front wheel spindle removal
There is a little locking screw with a square top on it that has to be loosened. I think it's on the left of the axle if you are looking from the front. A lot of people mistake this screw for a grease fitting which it is not. The forks themselves then may need to have just a bit of force to them to separate them enough for the wheel to drop out of the mounts. Two people helps. An inverted clamp is best, though.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try this weekend. Next option will be to cut it off and make a new one.
