67D Charging issues
So i got our 67D wired correctly today and got it running. Need to replace co as it is cracked and arking occasionally. Question is it looks like its not charging from the generator. Anyone ever ran into this issue and could guide in right direction. Thanks in advance.

Re: 67D Charging issues
Charging issues are normally attributed to faulty voltage regulators. Old-style voltage regulators have a little adjustment screw on them that will allow additional voltage so long as there is some adjustment left to give and that the charging circuit is otherwise working right. VRs do go bad so but those are still widely available.
If it's not the VR then it's likely that your starter / gen isn't putting out enough juice. Any car alternator shop will be able to service it. Here is nice link to some info on testing a generator. It's for old Volkswagens but the same principals apply the any 12v machine. http://www.netlink.net/mp/volks/htm/gen.htm |

Re: 67D Charging issues
This unit only has f3 green wire that goes resistor that goes to ground. Not a typical voltage regulator with adjustment it only has 2 terminals. It test good but nothing coming from f3 other that battery voltage am afraid it won't keep tail lights and headlight lit. Will test further once get the lights completely wired
