Default looking to send a curtis Controller to Bob Boyce!

Hey all! Im new here, but have been a lurker for a long time. was about to pull the trigger on a Navitas 600amp controller for my cart for speed. then started doing a little more reading here and found about the work Bob Boyce does. I have a second controller that i aquired from a wrecked 2014 RXV i bought from friend. i installed it in my cart to confirm it works.. and it does. I would like to get in the area of 38-40MPH, since all my buddies with txts are running around there.

I also would like group input on braking, as i know the motor it self does the braking, do i need to go into front disc brakes with a controller upgrade?

Thanks all. this is my first post, but I have been wanting to join for a while... never had an email address outside of google or hotmail for years!

I just got my Bob programmed controller installed in mine and got 36mph with 6” lift and 23x10x14 tires. I noticed a huge increase in torque also. Good luck! Send it to Bob and don’t look back. You will be impressed in sure!

Your going to need three posts before you'll able to pm. You need to pm to be able to communicate.

Tell us more about your cart. Lifted or not, tire size, terrain, or a backseat.

Totally man! I have a 2014 rxv, 5 inch lift. 23 inch tires, back seat. I got it from a guy in a trade and switched the body out, added the lift myself. Then did the back seat. I have rock lights, headlights/taillights and turnsignals, bazooka party bar with self powered sub in the bag well.

It currently has freedom mode set on the controller in the cart. Its nice but I'm getting gassed by buddies in souped up txts. The terrain I ride is strictly streets and allies. I went with more AT tires over mud grips on tires. Smoother ride but has the look. Not alot of hills in my area of south Georgia!

I was looking to upgrade to a curtis 350 and see if Bob could program it before installing. I thought it was on this thread where USGI said he was selling some 350A controllers and could ship to Bob?

I have a 2014 RXV that currently has a 235A curtis 1206AC-5201. I do have a folding rear seat added, 6 inch lift, and 23x10.5-12 tires.

Unless it has the 350 Curtis I don’t think Bob will touch it with that size tire.
